Personal Statement
My level of excitement as I begin my college career is, perhaps, beyond the conveyance of words. I am ecstatic to begin the hard work toward a degree while competing at the collegiate level. The role of student athlete has always been more than a title to me. I see it as an order-of-operations process. I've always worked tirelessly at being a productive student first. When schoolwork was complete, then it was time to compete...at the highest level I have to offer. As an engineering major, I've always had a mind for constructing competetive strategies. I was a four year, starting varsity athlete. During those four years I evolved through the leadership process culminating with my senior year as captain and earning "All CIF" honors as well as "First team all-league" for two consecutive years. Nothing drives me more than attaining improvement through hard work. I work as hard on semester day one as I do on the final day. Likewise, I compete as hard on point one as I do on game point. All of my former and current coaches have always given me high marks for attitude, character, coachability and team building. I will remain committed to demonstrating the highest degree of integrity when representing our school, our team and the entire athletic program.
