Dear college coach, my collegiate goals include majoring in business, gaining new experiences, and learning what my future career will be. I hope to study the business side of the world and what it takes to make and manage money. I have not officially decided what I want my dream career to be yet. I am still curious and want to try new things before I make my final decision. Although I am not sure of my final career, I am certain I want to study business because I believe regardless of your career, it is important to have a business background to help you after college. Throughout college I hope to learn new skills that I am excited about and that will help me become excited about an occupation. I will be a good candidate for your team because I am very coachable. I take every critique a coach gives me and apply it for the rest of my volleyball career. I know it is important to take into consideration and apply the things your coaches say. I am the type of person that does not like the thought of quitting. Through every practice, drill, and game, I will give 100% effort and nothing less. Even when things get tough I will push through and never give up. I am also a straight A student. I have never received below a 4.0 GPA. It is very important to me to keep my grades up just as it is to work on my volleyball skills. I know it is important to remember that I am a student-athlete and being a student will always come first. I am different from other recruits because I can balance studying for school and keeping my grades up with working hard at practice. I am a very organized person and know the importance of balancing your priorities. My social life has always come after school and sports. I know the commitment it takes to handle a rigorous practice schedule with studying for tests. Being a part of a club volleyball team has taught me time management because every other day I have had to travel almost one hour to get to practice and spend 3 to 5 hours away from home after school and then make time for homework. With all of that happening, I have still managed to keep my 4.0 GPA. Keeping all of this in mind, I hope you give me the chance to study at your school, and be a part of your volleyball team. Thank you for visiting my profile, Sincerely Megan Ehlers.
