Kameela Hall '18 Recruiting Profile

Hi I am Kameela Hall,

I am an uncommitted athlete who will be attending Northern Arizona University in the Fall of 2018 for academics. I have joined there Honors college and I am a Business (PREP) major. 

My primary position is Pin Hitter and my secondary position is Middle Blocker and I have a lot of potential when it comes to setting.

I've been playing volleyball since 5th grade and volleyball will always be a passion of mine. I have had outstanding opportunities in volleyball for example being a starter on a 15's team when I was 12 years old and making it to New Orleans GJNC in 2015. In addition to volleyball, I started throwing my junior year (2016), I throw the discus and shot put for O'Dowd Track and Field making it to the North Coast Section Championship 2 years in a row for shot put. I am an athlete who was born to play and is continuously developing each day that I am in the weight room, on and off the court and field.

I have continuously been a proud captain for every volleyball team I have ever played for club as well as school. In addition I was captain of my school track team my junior year. As a true leader, being Captain and showing leadership allows for me to always bring my team up when in doubt or keep them up when in good spirit as well as bring anyone together to remember that it takes trust in order to be a team and execute. 

Being a coachable athlete is very important to me and is a useful trait of mine in order to accept constructive criticism and apply it immediately.

Win or lose you should never doubt the effort you left on the court.
