Personal Statement

Since the age of 10, when I began to play Volleyball I knew I would  want to play at the collegiate level. I started playing at at a junior club when I was 11 and I fell in love with the sport! I try’d out for Rancho Valley Volleyball club at the age of 12 and  made the 13 premier team. This is when it became my passion. I've always been driven to work hard, challenge myself and improve in order to succeed on and off the court.  As a freshman at Citrus Valley High School I showed my leadership skills as Captain of the JV team my freshman and sophomore year. I was awarded the all tournament team  player award during our summer league tournament. during my sophomore year i practiced with both jv and varsity everyday which pushed me to really manage my time to stay on top of my grades. I believe this makes me  exceptional because after school i would have two practices everyday which amounted to 5 hours and i never gave an excuse or reason to not stick through it and give my all. In college i want to study pre-med and become an orthopedic surgeon, or registered nurse.I am so excited to see where I end up and what college I attend
