My name is Kaylee Christie. I will be graduating in June 2019 from Martin Luther King High School in Riverside, California. I live for volleyball and it is my dream to be a college volleyball player while pursing a degree in Engineering.
I have been playing volleyball for four years, and my love for the sport continues to grow with each and every season. I am a member of the King Lady Wolves volleyball program and I also play club volleyball for the Forza1 Volleyball Club at its South location in Temecula, California. I have played the Middle Blocker, Opposite and Outside Hitter positions.
Academics are very important to me. I am currently enrolled in AP and Honors courses and participate in the Project Lead The Way engineering program offered at my school to prepare me for post-secondary studies in this field. At school I serve as an active member of the Black Student Union student group. I also participate in PAWSS, a peer support group to build friendships among students with special need and the general population.
When I am not in the classroom or on the court, I relish spending time with my family, friends, and teammates. I also volunteer in the youth group at my church. My hobbies include reading, journaling, and listening to music.
It is my sincere hope that you will enjoy browsing my profile and allow me the opportunity to speak with you.
