Samantha Weising '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Samantha Weising from San Diego California 
Just to tell you a little bit about myself.  I am a Middle Blocker I play at Westview high school. I like to work as hard as I can during practices and games. Also I try and give 110% during practices to have the opportunity to become a better player not just for myself but for the better of the team. I am a quick learner and open to change for the better. I’ve been playing volleyball for about 6 years now. I began playing as middle but my 9th grade year they played me as an Opposite. I enjoy both Middle blocker and Opposite. I plan on playing in college.  I’m very friendly and easy to get along with.  I am very passionate about volleyball I think its the best sport in the whole world. When i'm on the court all I can think about is playing the sport well and of course winning!  
In my academics I consider my self a very intelligent person. Currently I have a 3.5 GPA and I attend Westview High School. I'm really interested in becoming an anesthesiologist.  I'm looking for a college with a good pre-med program that can help me achieve this goal.
I am also interested in leadership. During the Memorial weekend I joined a leadership seminar called EDGE.
