Holland Boege '16 Recruiting Profile

As a student-athlete I recognize the importance of academics, as reflected in my 4.8 GPA, while at the same time dedicating all of my other time to pushing myself to be the best possible all-around volleyball player I can be. Since I first touched a volleyball, I knew that this is what I wanted to be doing for the rest of my life, which immediately made my goal playing collegiate volleyball at the D1 level and even aspire to play at the professional level. I am more then willing to assist any team I am on to the best of my ability whether that means playing outside, middle, or opposite, because in reality my passion is playing on the court and how ever that seems fit I will work my absolute hardest to accomplish. Beyond this, I am a leader. I have been a captain on all of my club teams and two out of my three Varsity High School seasons so far. I realize the importance of every individual on the team and am capable of assisting people to help them fulfill their potentials. My positive attitude makes me a key attribute to any team and I continuously want to strive to learn from my coaches and peers to not only make myself a better player, but to help make my team more successful.
