When I was 10 years old, my mom picked up her entire life but she left me and my sister behind. It was one of the hardest times of my life and I shut down. I was hurting but I knew that everyone around me was supporting me. After a while I decided that I was going to be okay and that my life would be okay. When I was 12 I decided that I wanted to play volleyball. The moment I stepped on the court I fell in love with the sport. From then on it was my goal to play at the college level. Every time I step on the court or have free time I strive to be a better player. When on the court or on the sidelines I try to keep my teams energy up and keep them motivated to be the best they can be and to shake off their mistakes.
I work just as hard in the classroom as I do on the court. I strive to keep at least a 3.9 if not a 4.0.
