Personal Statement
Hello! My name is Kristine and I am currently finishing up my freshman year of college. Before college, I went to San Marcos High School in Santa Barbara where I was a four-year varsity volleyball starter. I graduated in June of 2019. Fall 2019 I attended Cal Lutheran University, where I started my collegiate volleyball career by playing in 10 matches. I made the fall 2019 Dean’s list and was inducted into the Scholar-Athlete Society. Spring 2020 I decided to move back closer to home as I was unsure what field I wanted to pursue after college. I have been at Santa Barbara City College for spring 2020 and received all A’s for my freshman year of college ending with a 3.92 and 3.82 overall with 39 units. I will receive my Associate Degree for transfer in sociology next spring and possibly an AA in psychology as well. I am going to be playing for SBCC this fall and I am looking to transfer in the fall of 2021, my junior year. I want to make the best out of every situation and find solutions to problems as a team. I am looking for a great academic fit and an athletic opportunity. Thank you!
