Personal Statement
I began to play volleyball my freshman year in high school and since I started to play I fell in love with the game. My first year I made the Junior Varsity Team following with the Varsity Team my sophomore year; which began my volleyball career. Since I first started to play volleyball I knew I wanted to play in college, and it has been my dream ever since.
Academics have always been a very important part of my life. My family has always pushed me to do well in school. I have managed to keep an above average GPA over the years while taking honors and AP courses. School is an enormous priority and I would like to attend a college that can offer me a well-rounded education.
Just like school, volleyball is a very high priority, being a very coachable player has helped me learn the game in a fast manner and grow as a player. I am a very consistent player that can play almost anywhere on the court. My strength is my hitting and my serve. Along with these strengths I am also a very positive player that takes a large leadership role on what ever team I may be on.
I hope to find a University in which I could play at the most competitive level possible. I would enjoy testing my limits as a student athlete and grow into the most positive individual I could ever be.
