Shaun Crespi ‘15 Recruiting Profile

Personal Statement

My name is Shaun Crespi. I am a senior at Westlake High School in Westlake Village, California. I have been playing volleyball for 7 years; the last 4 years for my high school.  I was a starting Middle Blocker for the JV Team my Freshman and Sophomore year and then I was the starter on the Varsity team my Junior and Senior year. My greatest accomplishments were winning the Defensive Player of the Year Award my Sophomore year and winning the first Marmonte League Championship for Westlake High School in 11 years in my junior and senior year. My club experience has also been very rewarding.  I served as an Outside Hitter my first year playing club, but quickly moved into the middle blocker position, and have been playing middle for the past 4 years. I am currently playing on the Ventura County Volleyball Club's 18-1's team. My goals are to continue playing volleyball in college and pursuing a career in Forensic Science. I have a very strong work ethic and have been told many times that I am very coachable and easy to work with.
