Abby Thomsen '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Abigail Thomsen. I am a 5'8" Setter/DS  for La Serna High School. I am a junior during the 2013-2014 school year, while playing my second season on varsity volleyball.Six years of club volleyball experience at Protege Volleyball Club as a setter, right side hitter, outside hitter, and defensive specialist have definitely helped me develop my skills as a well rounded player. Not only am I incredibly committed to volleyball and willing to accept any coaching that will help me further excel as a player, but I am also a strong student. I maintained a cumulative GPA of 4.0 for my Freshman Year, putting me in the Top 25 for my class.

 Some of my best memories have been with my club and high school teams, and I hope that these great times continue when I attend college. I am willing to play at any collegiate level in which I am able to contribute my positive attitude and commitment to the team. Currently, I am thinking about pursuing a career in the sciences, but am not decided on a specific major. Overall, I would love to attend a college that would be a challenging and positive experience both academically and athletically.
