I grew up watching my older sister play volleyball and could not wait until the day that my parents would let me play. My passion for the game continues to grow each year. I have enjoyed playing for different coaches as well as with many different group of girls. The things I love about the game as a setter are connecting with the hitters and learning what sets will make them successful. I enjoy the feeling of celebrating with my team after winning the point of a long rally, and the feeling of winning a hard fought match. My strengths as a player are that I enjoy encourgaing my team mates, I am able to move past errors quickly and move on to the next ball, and I take constructive criticism well. I would like to continue my volleyball career into college. My goal at this point is to become a neonatal intensive care nurse.
