Personal Statement
Coming from a school with less than 180 students, and a town with no stop lights instilled in me the desire to leave , and experience life outside of Boonville. I grew up with a mother and father who still hold school records, and my goal is to go to a college where I can prove myself, rather than being known for my small town popular name. My goal is to further my education and pursue a career in physical therapy. I love playing volleyball, and coming from a small school hasn't opened up many doors in the field of college sports, but it has built character. I know what it's like to play on a team struggling to have enough players, or a team with people playing because they waited until their senior year to get sports credits. I think what makes me different from other athletes my age is that playing time is not my priority, getting better at volleyball is. My goal is to play for a team that I can contribute to, and increase my skills on.
