Personal Statement

My goal for college is to find a school that is a good fit for me both athletically and academically. I would like to study in a nursing program, but I am open to schools where I can study biology and work toward my nursing degree. I am calm in high pressure situations, a quality that I think will benefit me in the future in both volleyball and medicine. I am a three year starting varsity setter and a three year captain for my high school, along with being named captain of 4 of my 6 club teams. I made second team all-league my sophomore year and first team all-league my junior & senior year. I was given the coaches awards of both MVP and Best Offensive Player twice throughout my high school career.
