Personal Statement

My name is Ashley Apel and I attend San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton, California (class of 2019). I am a very well-rounded student and an extremely coachable athlete. In addition to being on Liberty's Varsity Volleyball team starting my Sophomore year, and competing in the North Coast Sectionals (NCS) both years, I have managed to achieve many academic awards. Over the years, on several occasions, coaches have placed me in different positions giving me the power to adapt to changes.  While maintaining my 3.75 and higher GPA during the season, I achieved Second Team All- Conference recognition for the Bay Area Valley Athletic League (BVAL) my junior year. My senior year, I have been awarded All- League MVP, Most Offensive Player, and Team Captain. My hard work and dedication has prepared me for the next level and I know I would make a great teammate, player and a student and I will look forward to being a contributing member of your outstanding team.
