Melanie Maclin '19 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Melanie Maclin and I am apart of the class of 2019! At the age of seven I started playing rec volleyball and fell in love with the sport. From there I came to 951 Elite. I started on 15-2, then to 16-2, and I am currently playing on the 18-2s. During my 16-2 season I had the privilege of playing all around. It was an amazing experience and it helped me grow so much as a player. I love to be a leader on my team and be the person younger players or my fellow teammates can look up to.

I currently attend Paloma Valley High School as a junior. I have a GPA of 3.3 . I have been apart of my school team for all three years so far. I was a starter on the freshman team as well as being a starter on the varsity team for my sophomore year and current junior year. This year I had the honor to be junior captain of the varsity team and I look forward to leading my team as captain for my senior year! In 2017 I was awarded with first team all-league. My varsity team made it to the semi finals of CIF for the 2017-2018 season. Being a  very competitive person I love challenging myself to learn and accomplish new things rather its on or off the court. I'm excited to play my senior year and hope to play in college
