My name is Lauren Leontas, and I am a senior at Oak Hills High School. I have played on the varsity volleyball team there for three years now. Some of my other extracurricular studies include being Executive Vice President of ASB, Peer Leadership, and I am also a Student Ambassador for the San Bernardino County Superintendent's Office. I currently have a 4.6 GPA. My cumulative 10- 12 grade GPA is 3.8, and my class rank is 70 out of 494. I plan to major in pre-medicinal studies and minor in business in college, so that one day I can open my own practice.
I play club volleyball at Rancho Valley Volleyball Club. This will be my third year playing on a premier there, and this year I will be on the 18 1's team, coached by Danny Scott.
I would be a great candidate for any team because of my leadership skills both on and off the court, and my hard working attitude. I am a highly competitive player who will push my teammates and myself to become better. I am different from other recruits because of my coachable attitude and my determination to be a great volleyball player and student athlete.
