I am a 6’2 middle blocker and opposite from San Francisco, California. This last year I was a starter on Sacred Heart Cathedral’s Varsity Women’s Volleyball team. We made it to the first round of NorCal in Open. I have been playing volleyball for about 5 years. I am passionate about playing volleyball because I like pounding the ball down anytime, anywhere. I love this game because one play I’m the one getting a kill and the next I’m the one getting blocked, but that is the game of volleyball and this game has taught me to recognize my mistakes, learn from them and come back better than before. I am an influencer and a leader on and off the court. I make sure that all of my teammates and I are ready to play mentally and physically. When I am not playing volleyball, I take care of my dogs and volunteer at the SPCA, where I walk and feed the animals there. Last year I received an academic award for mathematics. This year as a sophomore I am maintaining a 3.83 GPA. My goal for high school is to graduate with a 3.5 or higher and get into the college that is the right fit for me. I plan to become a veterinarian or a professional dog trainer, really anything to do with animals. I believe that work ethic is the key to life and success because nothing in life is given on a silver platter, I have to work hard for everything that I want.
