Shannon Pearson '09 Recruiting Profile

My name is Shannon Pearson, and I am a 2009 Graduate from Thousand Oaks, California. I actually began my athletic career as a competitive swimmer. I fell in love with volleyball in 8th grade as a result of trying out for the middle school team, and successfully making the team. Ever since making that first team, and fighting my way into a regular playing position, I have loved the sport, and love the challenge of achieving the next level of play. I am very competitive, and want to be the best I can be. I have been named most improved player each year in both club, and high school. I am excited to play at the collegiate level, and I am looking for a school that will allow me to excel in both volleyball, and academics. I am currently in AP English, Art, and History, have a cumulative GPA of 3.69, and plan on majoring in the fields of Fine Arts or Biological Sciences.
