Hi I'm Portia, currently a Senior at Cherokee Trail High School in Aurora, Colorado. I'm a focused, hard-working scholar athlete with a passion for the game of volleyball. I maintain above a 4.0 GPA in multiple advanced courses, and I'm always looking to improve both in the classroom and on the court. My background in club volleyball includes Vision Volleyball Club, City Beach Volleyball Club, and Encore Volleyball Club. I also excelled as a starting player for the NCVA High performance team, and have competed in over 40 sand tournaments, being exceptionally successful. On every team I've played on, my coaches always praise me for my exceptional drive and focus during practice and tournaments. Throughout the process of earning my black belt in Tae Kwon Do and my many years of experience in volleyball I learned important qualities like respect, communication, a competitive spirit, patience, positivity, etc. Outside of volleyball, I'm a certified lifeguard and I'm a state qualifier and officer for my school in DECA. I am also an active tutor through a local youth program.
