My collegiate aspirations are to obtain the best academic education possible so I can pursue a career in the sciences and then onto a medical doctorate program. Having enjoyed playing volleyball at the high school and competitive club level, I aspire to continue with the sport in college. I would be an asset to any team because of my positive attitude even in the face of trying circumstances, my ability to put my team first and my natural athletic abilities. I pride myself in being a coachable athlete. Also, I have a powerful swing, strong, unpredictable jump- float serve, and training as not only a right side hitter but also a middle blocker. Throughout my volleyball career I have become an expert in balancing sports and academics, shown by my ability to maintain my 4.2 GPA even in the height of volleyball season. I take time out of my busy schedule to volunteer in the community and in the hospital ER. All of these aspects make me a well rounded person and a great advantage to have on any team.
