Hi my name is Paula Mortel and I currently live in Denver, Colorado. I play varsity volleyball at Thomas Jefferson High School and club at The Edge VBC.
Volleyball has influenced my life and its values. It has shaped me into a dedicated and hardworking young individual both on and off the court. Playing the game has allowed me to gain leadership skills, teamwork skills, as well as an overall positive mindset. I fully understand the importance of my education and am aware that I should balance both roles of academics and athletics, being a student athlete. I believe that I can be a good candidate for your team because I am coachable, and determined to take sacrifices or overcome any challenges to improve myself as a player.
Receiving the opportunity to play volleyball in college is my biggest dream that I hope to pursue in the future.
