Why do I love volleyball? My initial answer to that question is passion for the sport. I love this sport. From running 61 lines one day to having a tough loss the next and everything in between. Another answer is to meet people, make new friends, and expand my horizons. To create memories to last for a whole life. All these options remain important, but the largest reason is for my future. I am here for my future beyond college and into life. My future where I will know how to stand up for myself. My future where I will know how to get what I want. Where I can lead flawlessly. Where I know how to make connections and utilize them to benefit others and myself. My future where I can perform, with poise, during crunch time . These are all learned through this sport. Volleyball is teaching me and will forever be a part of me. I will forever be an athlete. Not because I work out or play the physical sport, but because I am a competitor who took what they learned and used it to become great. So, why do I love volleyball? It has and will always help to create the best me there can possibly be.
