Hi, I’m Laila Hilton.
I am so excited to enter my senior year at Thomas Jefferson High School, and my 4th year playing on Varsity with my team. Although it was hard to see the past years seniors go off to college, I look forward to making new memories. This year I would like to focus on ending my senior year with a strong GPA. In terms of volleyball, as a pin, I would love to work on defense while playing all six rotations! As a part of TJ Leadership, I am excited to shape the school and leave behind a legacy, and a TJHS that I am proud of! I enjoy mentoring under-classmen and being involved in the atmosphere of my community. After my high school season I will continue club play at 303 Volleyball Academy on the 18 Alpha team. My goal when I graduate is to continue playing volleyball while pursuing a degree in either Law, Political Science, or the sciences. I am a very focused player and student. I may appear serious but I am always thinking of ways to improve my skills. Trust me I do have a fun side. I take all feedback from my coaches, and strive to implement the next steps provided.
