Personal Statement

Hi Coaches! I am Hailey Hall and live in Longmont, Colorado (just north of Denver).  I started playing volleyball in 3rd grade with school friends at our local Recreation Center and quickly fell in love with it.  I started club in 5th grade at Norco Juniors Volleyball Club.  Since playing at NORCO VBC I have been able to play against some of the best athletes in the country while playing in the USA open division.  2024 was a great success in earning an open bid with a 2nd place finish in the Spokane national qualifier.  Earning this bid was a great success after winning nationals in 2023 in another division.  I love to bring enthusiasm to my team both on and off the court and always a good attitude because I believe even though you might be outsized your energy and never give in attitude can give anyone the confidence to win.

I have always pushed myself to be the best I can be in the gym and in the classroom.  This drive led to being a freshman earning a spot on Varsity as well as maintaining a 4.0 GPA.  When I'm not at practice with club, high school or camps, I find myself still playing volleyball in my backyard with my younger siblings.  My experience being a big sister has really allowed me to become a patient individual.  Playing volleyball with my siblings has translated into finding passion for the special team atmosphere only volleyball breeds.  There is no other sport with the same team reliance and demands, which is why I love volleyball so much.  I hope to continue my athletic career in college and my education.

My life outside of volleyball is around family.  Having family in both Nebraska and California allows me the opportunity to not only travel, but to appreciate the people that aren't around on a daily basis.  I also find myself spending time supporting my friends with their passions in both sport and music.  Currently, I work part time at my parents early childhood center.  I am not old enough yet to be in classrooms, but help with data entry and yard work on the weekends.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
