Jacquelyn Terrell '20 Recruiting Profile

I try my hardest to excel in everything I do whether it is academics or sports. I aspire to be a college athlete I know I am capable of it and would love the chance to reach my goal of starting on a college team. I have had a dream to make it on the team USA volleyball Olympic team, and be able to push my limits. One day even be a volleyball coach myself. I love the sport it has always seemed to make me a better person, and student. When my school team gets down I try to put smiles on all of our faces, because when one gets down we all get down and we fall apart. If we smile and just remember we love playing volleyball all will be well. Even though I play with a smile on my face, I play with intensity in my heart. I am very competitive, and I don't let anything hold me back from achieving my goals. I know that sportsmanship is a huge expectation in athletics and I make sure to respect officials, coaches, my teammates, and opposing teams. I know I am not the best of the best but I would love the chance to work my butt of to get there.
