Jessie Leclerc '16 Recruiting Profile

       I started playing volleyball when I was ten years-old. Ever since I started, I knew it was something I always wanted to do. As I got older my love for the game grew stronger. I started playing more and more, I also took up weight lifting to help improve my skills on the court. I'm fast, definitely a hustler, there is no ball on the court that I'll let touch the ground. Like all players I have been moved from one position to another, but my personal best are setting and passing. As far as passing goes you could put me right, middle, or left back. Its doesn't matter to me as long as I get a chance to show everyone what I can do. Other than that I'm a definite leader, I try my best to lead by example and hope to encourage my fellow teammates. I have been on my high school varsity team since I was a sophomore, at Lemon Bay High School, and been playing club for 4 years.My parents have had a big part in my volleyball career, paying for club ball and showing up too all my games and tournaments. Just like on the court, in the classroom I give a 100%.  Working hard by taking honors classes and pushing myself to have an A/B average in all of them.
