Caroline Flaharty '16 Recruiting Profile

During my 6 years of club volleyball I have successfully played every position on the court. I get along with all my teammates and have a level headed and balanced approach to competition. My relaxed personality allows me to avoid the emotional ups and downs of competition and to perform to the best of my abilities in critical moments. My friendly attitude and team-oriented approach to the game makes me the "glue" that holds my team together during tough matches.The coaches have a lot of confidence in my abilities and have me on the court during the toughest matches.  I feel that my personality is well suited for successful team play. I understand people well and have a sense for what needs to be done to be successful, whether that means stepping up my play, encouraging a teammate, helping the team stay relaxed and focused, or implementing one of the coaches strategies. Overall I feel that I was born to play college volleyball and will continue to pursue that goal with passion and determination.
