My goal to play volleyball in college started when I was chosen to be captain of my varsity high school team my freshman year. As I increased in skill and knowledge of the game I tried out for the national team at JJVA and am currently playing there. I love the intense practices and the experience of traveling across America to play extremely competitive teams.
Volleyball has been a lifelong passion of mine and I have worked hard at it since day one. When I started playing when I was ten I was an alternate on my middle school team. Before the end of the season, I became one of the starting players and one of the tops scorers on my team. My success didn't stop in middle school. I have been recognized in many camps across the nation as mvp and was nominated Gainsville elite team player since my freshman year. I was recognized in Florida Times Union as honorable mention for All Tournament Team.
I am dedicated to both volleyball and my academics along with service to my community. I currently have over 700 service hours and plan on earning many more before my high school career ends. My most valued service project has been traveling around America on mission trips to help build better communities for low income families. The people I meet and the lives I have changed have changed me for the better.
I plan majoring in Pre Med or Biology so that I can pursue my dreams of becoming a doctor. I challenge myself with all honors and AP courses and have maintained a 4.0 gpa average. I am a scholar athlete and am top 15 in my very competitive class.
I want to take my volleyball and academic skills to the college level and my dedication can take me there. I am a very coachable player and I am known for being a team leader and enthusiast.
