I have dreamed of playing volleyball at the next level since I was first introduced to the sport. It has always been a goal to work hard every day so I can get into a quality college where I can play and succeed academically. I consider myself coach-able; I understand that, as an athlete, I always have room to grow and expand my knowledge of the game, making me very open-minded and willing to go the extra mile. I have a strong work ethic, not only on the court, but in the classroom as well, therefore, I strive to do my best academically since I believe it is a responsibility of student athletes to reflect their hard work through their academics. I give my best effort into everything I do because I know I can't take anything for granted.
An important aspect that I love about the game is the fact that it is a team sport. It is very important to have unity and communication on the court, and I feel like I provide that through my leadership and being a verbal player. I do the best of my abilities to maintain a positive attitude when I play and I always encourage my teammates and give them feedback. I have fallen in love with the game; it has played a very important role in my life and I hope to continue pursuing what I love to do. I am very persistent and I am willing to do what I must do to obtain my goals.
