I believe hard work and a strong commitment will get you to where you want to be.
Academically, I have always strived to exceed higher than the previous year and I plan to continue this goal as I begin my college career. First and foremost I focus on my education however I have been successful at balancing both academics and volleyball.
I want to be a part of a winning team therefore I make sure that I contribute at the highest level possible. My focused mindset and high-level volleyball experience makes me a good candidate for a collegiate team. I am mentally strong and possess a positive attitude toward my team, coaches and the sport itself. These are skill sets that I believe are necessary for playing any sport.
Throughout my volleyball career, I've played every position, which I believe has attributed to my development as a player. By being versatile on the court, I am able to fill in a gap at a moments notice and it allows coaches to utilize my skills in many ways. I give it my all regardless of the position I play.
In addition, being a part of a team is important to me and I love the unity a team represents. I have a good attitude, even if things aren't going so well. When a teammate is down, I encourage them and try to bring them up. I cherish all the relationships I have made through volleyball and look forward to creating more over the years.
