Danielle Bowers '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches,

My name is Danielle Bowers. I will be entering my senior year at East Hill Christian School in Pensacola, Florida this fall.  
I go by the nickname Danie, that my teammates gave me in my freshman year of school.

As a student I take my academics very seriously. I have great work ethic and time management skills. My GPA is 3.9.  My course load is mostly honor courses.  My accomplishments include honor roll, Jr Honors Society, National Honors Society, and National Society of High School Scholars.  I volunteer my time by writing up lifting messages in Christmas cards for our deployed military.

I fell in love with the game of volleyball while watching the summer Olympics with family and friends. Since starting my volleyball career in the fifth grade, I have given 110% in dedicating myself to improve my skill set by listening and applying the feedback of my coaches and peers, attending summer camps, playing club and beach volleyball.  As a Libero player all this experience has taught me to be a good communicator on and off the court, cool under pressure, maintain excellent ball control, playing a different position, quick on my feet, I have a strong defense where I will sacrifice myself to keep the ball in play and off the floor. I continue learning about volleyball as a Jr coach for beach volleyball during summer time.

I look forward to playing the game of volleyball for a great college and the coaches while I pursue a degree in forensic science to have a career in toxicology.
