Rebecca Lopez '17 Recruiting Profile

I am a 2017 student athlete (current GPA 4.0 would be happy to forward you my official transcript) with a passion for every aspect of volleyball. Having a vigorous academic workload and year round volleyball training has driven me to be bit of entrepreneur, recently forming a photography business taking pictures of other student athletes during high school games.   

Although my heart is in indoor volleyball, winning bronze at JO's this summer as the Libero for my team. I am also a beach volleyball player. I posses the ability to navigate a beach court with confidence as evidenced by my four consecutive year bids at Junior Olympic Beach competitions in Hermosa Beach, CA. Taking those skills and applying them to high level indoor play. My year round experience gives me an edge over many players. In addition to being a four year starter at my high school, (Cypress Bay HS Weston, FL population 4758) I am also a seven year returning elite player for Wildfire Volleyball Academy (current team 18 National Nike in Weston, FL).

I consider myself a well rounded person which thinks outside the box and would be a great asset to any university,
