Personal Statement
My name is Emilee Wissmach. I am a 2017 libero and attend Savannah Christian Preparatory School in Savannah, Georgia. I started playing volleyball in 4th grade and absolutely fell in love with the sport. Initially, I played outside and now currently play libero. From an early age, I have learned to balance academics with sports. It is equally important for me to excel in the classroom and on the volleyball court. In addition to my interest in volleyball, I enjoy reading, art, traveling, and water sports. You will find me to be highly competitive, motivated, coachable and possess key leadership skills necessary to succeed on and off the court. I have dedicated myself to improving my volleyball skills through on-going physical sports performance training and individual volleyball training sessions. Over the past five years, I have played for one of the premier clubs in southeast Georgia. We competed in the AAU 15 Open division last year in Orlando and finished 16th. We also finished first in the final SAVL standings. I am a varsity letterman playing for one of Georgia’s most competitive 1A high school volleyball teams. This past season we were runner-ups in the Georgia State Championships. It is my dream to play at the collegiate level while pursuing academic interests within the field of Medicine. I am interested in attending a mid level to large school with a competitive volleyball and academic program matching my educational requirements. However, I am open to discussing all opportunities. I can be contacted through the NCSA website. Looking forward to discussing next steps, Emilee Wissmach
