Angel Cornista '15 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing volleyball for seven years. I love the game. The yelling, laughing, the wins, loses, dedication, and the responsibility that comes with it. As much as I love the game for volleyball, school comes first for me and my family. I have grown an interest in majoring in Physical Therapy and Athletic training. Playing the game that I love for an amazing college is a bonus.

Learn from the past. Prepare for the future. Preform in the present. This is what I live by. It tells us not to dwell on the past and move on. Learn from what you have been through so you wont have to relive that moment but rather create a better one. I tell all my team mates and others who don't even play a sport this amazing quote from the book "The Ming Gym." Picking people up in a positive way is something I enjoy to do. I prove to myself and other around me that I will work for what I want and if I see others down I will pull them right next to me and push them because I know they withhold something special. They just need the right push.

Through my hard work and positive attitude I am an All Area player for this year 2014 session. I am very proud of my self and couldn't have done it with out my coaches and my amazing team mates. I look forward to improving my skills for the better of myself and others.
