Hi my name is Kela Iwata, I'm currently a senior at Kalani High School and would love the opportunity to play volleyball in college. I started when I was 13 (8th grade) and immediately fell in love with the sport. I'm a hard working, dedicated and determined player who always gives 100% at practices as well as in games. However, I do know that by being a student-athlete, the student part comes first. Along with volleyball, I also do hula, piano and water polo, with everything going on, i'm constantly at different places during different times. I have learned how to manage my time and incorporate my studies into my schedule, in order to maintain a 4.0+ G.P.A. throughout my high school years.
