Aloha, my name is Jaki Kua'ana and I am a setter for the class of 2021. I have been playing volleyball for 6 years and want to continue playing and growing in the sport. I believe I would be a great candidate for any team because I am able to take lead in any situation that I am placed in. I am sure there are a lot of athletes who have the same abilities as me but I am willing to go the extra mile for my team. I do not let my team get down, I always find a way to keep them motivated. I am hardworking and dedicated to reach my goals on and off the court.
I became the setter for my team my junior year and pushed myself to the starting position. I am a highly skilled setter and an all around player. You can put my in the front row or the back row, whatever fits your needs! Although I had a slow start my freshman year academically, I have been able to excel in all areas. My goals include achieving and maintaining a higher grade point average, overcoming past failures, and maintaining a scholarship or grant.
I am looking for a school that will challenge me physically and mentally. I am open minded to different opportunities that will best fit me academically and allow me to play volleyball at a high level.
