I am a 5’11’’ senior from Na’alehu Hawaii who currently plays all rotations while focusing on the outside and middle hitter positions at Ka’u High on the Big Island. I am also an asset to my team as a back row defensive player. For the second year in a row within my school’s division, I have earned the honor of 1st Team All- League Middle Blocker and this year been recognized as the 2011 Player of the Year. I also play volleyball during the off season for Ho’opa Hawaii Volleyball Club. I will be graduating in May 2013 and have a GPA of 3.84. I am not only team captain for both teams, but also a dedicated multi-sport athlete and student both on and off the court.
Even though I come from an extremely rural area on the Big Island of Hawaii, I am willing to travel away from my home for the opportunity to play collegiate volleyball as well as pursue an education. At present, I am unsure of my future courses of study.
