Lindsey Entsminger '15 Recruiting Profile

I am Lindsey Entsminger and I love to keep busy with sports. Working out is my thing and I love it because I know I will become a better athlete because of it. I have played volleyball since seventh grade and I would always be the one in the background; someone no one noticed too much, but something they really didn't notice was how hard I was working in my back yard. I just wanted to play the game, so I would go in my backyard and play volleyball on my garage each day and soon enough, I taught myself the game and new tricks I could do. I didn't sprout in volleyball until I was a sophomore, but I am happy with how everything worked out because if I wasn't pushed to the side then I wouldn't have strived to become a better volleyball player and athlete. I run 2 to 3 miles everyday to clear my mind and running makes me faster on the court. I also lift with my school to jump higher and hit harder. I am a multi-sport athlete. I am a bowler and a tennis player, so I am also looking to be recruited for bowling, as well as volleyball. I have been a bowler since I was 4 years old. Bowling has been there my entire life and is something I love to compete in just like volleyball. Being an athlete makes me wake up everyday knowing I have a job to do. Each day I wake up, I know I have to eat healthy, get that A in class, and work my butt off on and off the court because I want to be the best that I can be each and every day. Go Hard or Go Home.
