Personal Statement
I picked up my first volleyball at age 14, and I knew at that point, I want to do this for as long as I can. My dad and I would watch Olympic games on TV when it was on and I remember always wanting me to play on TV as I got older. In college, I have many goals, one is to play for a D1 college. Another is to just further my volleyball career after high school and for as long as I can. I enjoy working on the farm with my dad during planing and harvesting seasons, cleaning out bins, and shooting around the basketball and playing pickup volleyball on the court at home. As a freshman in high school, I made our varsity squad and played a lot, I went on to start all the next 3 years and play full rotation where I ended top 10 in digs for the conference every year. I have gotten lots of media interest and was on the all conference teams for the past year. I have always done well in school and tried my best even if I didn't think I could do it. I never quit even if I get frustrated. I have a drive to finish what I've started. I would love to finish my dream of playing volleyball in college and becoming a doctor.
