Jenna Wensink '23 Recruiting Profile

Out of all the sports I have participated in, volleyball has been my favorite. My love for volleyball pushes me to work as hard as I can, even during the off season, to be the best player I can be on and off the court. I have never missed or been late to a practice and will continue to show up to everything I can that will give me a better chance at becoming the best player I can be.   Defense is my strong suite and my favorite.  I have a high digging and blocking average as well as frequently saving out of system balls.  My passion for volleyball allows me to play at any position my coaches think my skills are best suited for.   I played middle and opposite most of the season.  However, being 5'9",  I realize that I am too short to play middle at a college level.  I will adapt to what ever position I am assigned. I have been told that I am a coachable athlete and a positive leader on and off the court.  I would like to continue playing volleyball competitively after high school while pursuing a degree in some sort of agricultural or animal medical field. My interests include physical therapy, dental, veterinary, or agricultural business.
