Personal Statement
Hello to my future college coach. I'd like to take a minute to introduce myself. I'm Morgan. When I was younger, I tried a wide variety of sports. My seventh grade year, I decided to tryout for my junior high volleyball team. After I started attending the practices and adjusting to this new type of game, compared to other sports, it didn't feel like a requirement. I immediately fell in love with the game and today I couldn't picture my life without it. Volleyball has really shaped who I have become. It has taught me responsibility, determination, and to push through my weaknesses. As an athlete, I am very dedicated. I never make excuses and always take responsibility. As a teammate, I am very social, so I easily make friends and adjust to my team quickly. I am very encouraging through the toughest matches, and always physically and mentally pick up my teammates when they're down. In the gym it is easy to see that I am very hard working. I adjust easily with positions and quickly fix what is wrong. I love to compete and I love to win. I can't wait to play another four years of college volleyball at a new school with a new coach and new teammates. I'll be looking forward to it.
