Personal Statement
Volleyball has been a part of my life since I was 10 years old. I have always dreamt of playing at the collegiate level and I believe I have the qualifications needed to fulfill that dream. Aside from talent, I have a passion to win, a positive attitude that can inspire others, and I always strive to perform at my best and give 100%. I am a team player and I possess leadership skills that my teammates look up to. I have the ability to stay calm and level-headed in pressure situations. My teammates rely on me when the game is tight to put the ball down and play smart. Most of all I always try to stay positive when everyone gets down. Volleyball is 90% mental and 10% physical so I know how one bad attitude can affect an entire team. I also know how one good attitude can affect a team and I strive to be that person. It doesn't matter to me if we win or lose, I always look into the eyes of the other players when we slap hands and have a big smile on my face.
