I would like to become an Athletic Trainer. I would also like to excel at sports because I find it very rewarding on many levels including all the challenges associated with all aspects of the mind and body that sports have taught me. I started track and volleyball in fifth grade just for the exercise and found right away that I loved sports. So I challenged myself and decided I wanted to go to State. My fifth grade track coach told me I would not make it but by sixth grade I have made it to State for track every year and I set the school record for shot put. That record still stands today. I have placed in state since my sixth grade year and my freshmen year i placed 24th out of 28 beating seniors. There was only two freshmen out of the whole sate and I was lucky to be one of them. I did this by putting in extra hard work. .I have watched other athletes and learned from them. I went online and watched videos and learned how to improve myself; my mother and grandmother help me by their support and taking me to my own extra practices. Now as a sophomore I have participated in three sports since fifth grade but by far volleyball is my favorite. My goal for volleyball is to set records as an outside hitter especially kills and blocks. I have been on varsity since my freshmen year. My focus is to be the best that I can be and make my school proud and in return I am rewarded in many ways, one being that I can believe in myself and my abilities. I want to be a leader helping others realize how rewarding sports can be. I over came challenges in my personal life and sports helped me succeed. I would like to get a scholarship in track also. Sports are my life and I want to excel in everything that I do. I would like to be on the olympic team for volleyball that is how much I love it. I want to take my playing to the next level. I have a great personality, I don't like to get involved in all the drama, I'm reliable, honest, trustworthy, hardworking.
