My family has always been an important influence in my life! I have learned from them that,"Anything worth doing is worth working for." Overcoming obstacles set in front of me is something very important to me
I have had some academic setbacks in the last 3 1/2 years. My mom has had over 30 surgeries in that time with the final blessing being a life saving kidney transplant. Those years of repeated absences took a toll on my grades. I'm working on raising those grades the remainder of this year and the next.
I'm looking forward to college in 2016/17 to obtain a dual degree in both education and special education, while playing volleyball at a collegiate level. I work with the special needs group at my school whenever possible. I will not stop there. I am prepared to continuously further my education beyond a Bachelor's Degree. I will push myself academically to make the dean's list each and every semester.
I'm looking forward to showing you and the team just how much of a benefit I will be to the organization. I am eager for the chance to use my skills, while continually building my abilities to help bring the team to even greater heights. Self-assurance and my passion for volleyball are beyond question. I always strive to bring great work ethics and a can-do attitude to everything I do. I am hard working, willing to learn new skills and always pushing to do my best, both as an individual and as a team. I have pushed hard to once again accomplish time management and flexibility to achieve the best outcome with my drive for excellence. I have been raised to believe that reliability and a "never give up" attitude can overcome anything along with my faith. I have strong morals and core values that help me to keep reaching for the best I can be.
I have ZERO DOUBT I will be a great asset to the school and the volleyball team! I don't give up and am a glass half full type of person.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you-
Allie Zimmerman. .
