Ana Lambros '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Anastasia Lambros and I graduate in 2016. I play for the varsity volleyball team at Oak Forest High School in Oak Forest, IL. I also play for Celtic Force Volleyball Club in Palos Heights, IL. I have played volleyball for eight years making the starting lineup for seven of them. I am 5'8" and weigh 145 pounds. I have been selected honorable mention All-Conference this past year. I have always dreamed of playing volleyball on a collegiate level.

As a sophomore, I played outside hitter for the varsity team. I also have a 4.6 GPA. I am currently ranked 161 in my class of 355 students. During my 2015 club season, I was selected as team captain for my Celtic Force squad, so that has allowed me to learn more leadership skills. Playing volleyball in college is a goal I expect to achieve. I will be working hard to get playing time as a freshman anywhere I go. Every single thing I do is devoted to becoming a better volleyball player that means in the classroom, on the court, in the offseason, and most importantly my relationship with my family. A balance between the classroom and the court is what I desire to find.
