My name is Audrey Datzman, and I am a Senior (class of 2016) at Peoria Notre Dame High School, Peoria, Illinois. Volleyball is one of my greatest passions and I hope to continue to play at the collegiate level. I set high goals for myself in the classroom and on the court. I have a 4.1 GPA and in the top 20% of my class. I was also inducted into the National Honor Society.
New news: October 29, 2015, our team won the Regional Championship. I'm also working on getting my video updated with the current season.
As a Freshman, I was our Setter on the Frosh team. Sophomore year, I was a starter and played Libero on our Junior Varsity team and also played on Varsity as a Defensive Specialist and Setter. I was named to the All-Tournament Team at the IVC High School Tournament. I play club volleyball at Illini Elite Volleyball Club. For the 2014 season I was selected to play on the Illini Elite All Libero club team coached by Jessica Spence. Junior year, I started and played Defensive Specialist.
During spring high school sports season, I'm on the Varsity Track Team and compete in the following events: 300 Hurdles, 4x800, 800m, 400m, 4x400 and any event the coach wants me to run. For the 2015 Season, I qualified for State and ran the 4x400M Relay and was an alternate for the 4x800M Relay. I also qualified for the area wide Honor Roll Meet for the 800M (placed 7th) and the 4x400M Relay (placed 2nd).
I am very hardworking and competitive no matter what it is. I strive to better myself in volleyball, track and academics. I am currently researching college academic and volleyball programs. I plan to major in Health Sciences in Physical Therapy, Sports Medicine, or another related major.
