Hello,
My name is Nicole Schladt. I am a 5'5" libero and I attend DeKalb High School. I play at Sports Performance out of Aurora, Illinois. I have been playing volleyball since I was in third grade and it has always been a dream of mine to play in college. I am very dedicated to the sport and wish to pursue my career to the next level.
I will graduate in 2015 and have a 2.7 GPA out of a 4.0. I had a difficult time my freshman year but over the years my GPA has increased tremendously. I took honors humanities my freshman and sophomore year as well as honors speech my sophomore year. I am not certain as to what exactly I would like to study but I do want to pursue something in the Health field. I would like to do something that helps people and makes a big impact on not only others but myself as well.
I am a very hard worker and enjoy the physical as well as mental aspects of the game. I have trained with Athletic Republic for a long time to improve my quickness as well as jumping.
I have played at Sports Performance for the past six years and am very excited to play my senior year there and make it my seventh. Playing here has taught me a lot over the years. I have learned a lot about what it takes to be dedicated. Leadership is something that is earned and I have been in that role (captain) for five years. My 13's year, my team took 5th down in AAU's playing in the open division. I also took first place in the JVA tournament my 15's year down in Houston. I am very excited to see what my senior year has in store for me!
Some of my achievements being on Varsity all three years include First-Team All Conference, All Conference Honorable Mention, and All Tournament Team. I played on the sophomore team my freshman year and I started on varsity my sophomore and junior year. My past two years on varsity we have been Conference Champions. We were also Regional Champions my sophomore year.
If you have any questions or would like to know more about me, please don't hesitate ask. I look forward to hearing from you!
