Emma Muersch '22 Recruiting Profile

       Throughout my life, I have always been competitive, and I loved to be the best. I was a dancer for five  years , so I learned a lot about discipline , strength, and confidence.  In seventh grade, I was asked to join our school volleyball team, and I ended up making the second team. That moment pushed me to become the best, and I made the first team in eighth grade.  The cycle continues in high school, and I make Freshman A team. I knew I could be great, and I started my club journey that year. By sophomore year, I was dressing for varsity, and then starting on varsity a month or two later.  From playing volleyball, I have learned my capabilities. I have never been the best initially, but I have grown an incredible work ethic.  As a player, I have learned to use and highlight my strengths. I am on the shorter side, so I focus on my speed and placement of the ball. Overall, I would love to play college volleyball and know I can do it.
